Tiana's Place (Disney Wonder)

The moment you walk into Tiana’s Place, the brand new restaurant exclusive to the Disney Wonder, you immediately realize that this is not just a place to eat…it is an unforgettable dining experience. First, the ambiance: Tiana has achieved her dream of opening a booming restaurant…and YOU are her guests for the evening. She is so excited to host you, in fact, that she is there to welcome you at the door. The experience doesn’t end there, though….not by a long shot. Once you’re seated, your family will be treated to an upbeat performance by the Catfish Crawlers band (think “Oh When the Saints Go Marching In”). Best of all, Tiana herself joins them for a few numbers (when she’s not visiting with her guests, of course). At the end of the meal, the entire restaurant joins in on a true New Orleans “mardi gras style” parade, complete with a limbo pole and a very special guest (hint: I’ve heard that alligators like Cajun food, too).

Speaking of the food, it is truly out of this world. Start your incredible meal with the sausage fritters or the ahi tuna…you will not be disappointed. For the soup course, you absolutely can’t miss the Pepper Pot (slightly spicy and unforgettably flavorful). When it's time for the main course, I recommend the prime rib or the Cajun chicken with pecan bread pudding (both amazing). And for dessert? The beignets with espresso dipping sauce are truly not-to-be-missed.
